Starter power units

Stable Aviation manufactures portable Starter Units in 24V cells (giving real 25.8V start), 26V cells (giving real 27.9V start) and 28V cells (giving real 30.1V start). These units are used in maintenance hangars, airports and heliports, and are greatly appreciated by aircraft owners in the private sector. The Starters can be carried on board the aircraft, which makes them essential as emergency power for helicopters landing in locations outside of their bases, such as offshore platforms.

Combination power units

Stable Aviation manufactures portable Combination Power Units, combining Starter Power Units and Continuous Power Units in one cabinet. They provide continuous power for avionics work, maintenance, diagnostics, and demonstrations, as well as being able to start the aircraft engine or the APU.

eGPU power units

Stable Aviation manufactures mobile eGPU units — a state-of-the-art design that supplies true 28.5VDC output with no input mains applied. Each unit provides 28.5VDC continuous power for avionics work and start power for the aircraft or APU, operating in either AC Mode (power from the input mains supply) or DC Mode (power from the internal batteries); all batteries charge automatically when connected to input power. Units are fitted on a trolley with 6 rubber mounts to absorb vibration, and fitted with a brake.
